Speaking at Ignite on Office Graph and Office Video

image
I’m really honored to be allowed to speak at the biggest SharePoint event for the third time in a row. Previously it was Microsoft SharePoint Conference, now it’s Microsoft Ignite!

Previously I’ve spoken on extending people search and search relevance, and this time I’ve been allowed back for two sessions. One on Office Graph and one on Office 365 Video. Both related to search in their own ways.

If you haven’t signed up for this all encompassing event which covers most of the tech Microsoft has to offer, head over to http://ignite.microsoft.com/ and book May 4-8, 2015 in Chicago in your calendar today!

MVP Panel: Sample Apps and Intelligent Solutions Showcasing Office Graph and Delve Extensibility

In this session about how you can use the Office Graph outside of the Delve application, Alexandre Cipriani, Waldek Maztykarz, Chris Givens and myself will be led by DJ Bill Baer in an (hopefully) epic Battle of the Graph session to see who can showcase what the Graph is really good for.

I have no idea what the others guys will showcase, but I’ll do my best to show some insights in what the graph has to offer 8-)

Bill Baer has promised to bring a t-shirt gun (no head shots allowed) and I’ll wear my cape!
Head over to the Ignite portal for more information, and we even have a promo video for you.

Microsoft Office 365 Video End-to-End Portal Setup for Admins

My seconds session is an instructor-led lab which will show how to get started with Office 365 Video.

I’ll start with how to enable the video portal in your tenant and walk you through how to work with channels, permissions and upload content. Along the way I’ll share my insight and tips on how you can curate content and make the functionality provided in Office 365 Video work for you.

If you already have or is considering using video content in your business, sign up and you should leave with a better sense of direction than when you walked in.
